As a company always has an emphasis on social responsibility, Lightning Errands will try the best to make the contribution to the society especially under the severe pandemic situation, and help ease the burden for all the service users, and support SMEs and social welfare organisations affected by the epidemic through the company's logistics support and network.

Lightning Errands is deeply concerned about the seriousness of the fifth wave of the epidemic in Hong Kong, and hopes to provide timely assistance to the needy in the community. In order to fight the epidemic together as a community, Lightning Errands would like to waive the transportation fee for NGO and social welfare organisations' delivery to the needy. The waiver applies for non-profit organisations and social welfare agencies which are delivering daily necessities and food to the elderly in need so that they can spend less time outside; assisting social workers in delivering studying materials to children with special learning needs so that they can continue their studies while receiving physical and mental support during the epidemic; and delivering anti-epidemic items to elderly homes, ethnic minorities, street sleepers, and grassroots families such as rapid test kits, medical supplies, disinfection equipment, and masks.

Lightning Errands hopes the measure can help to alleviate the difficulties for all service users and fight against the pandemic within society.
